House of Paris or House of Monaco? We Can't Decide Either.

You know what? We have a hard time choosing between these two ourselves.

And we get asked about them all the time. House of Paris or House of Monaco? Which one would we recommend?

The truth is, they have such different personalities. It's almost impossible to choose one over the other.

They're both dollhouses, of course. Both filled with little rooms, furniture, and all the things that make a house feel like home. But the life you imagine inside each one is completely different.

Let us tell you why.

House of Paris: A Little Parisian Life

The open House of Paris dollhouse is shown during play with miniature figures placed inside.

There's something about the House of Paris that we never get tired of.

Maybe it's the tall, elegant façade inspired by Parisian townhouses. Or the feeling that behind every window, someone is going about their day.

With four floors and seven rooms, there's a little bit of everything. A living room, bedrooms, a playroom, even a café and a rooftop terrace.

And we love the idea of a child having their very own café in Paris.

Who works there? Who comes for breakfast? Does everyone live upstairs? Is the rooftop reserved for special occasions?

That's entirely up to them.

The House of Paris comes with its furniture and accessories, and you can choose to add seven rechargeable LED lights and our Bellevue Family, the little rabbits who might just become its first residents.

It's a house that feels like a little city of its own.

House of Monaco: A House Full of Life

Two children playing with the open House of Monaco dollhouse, its furnished, warmly lit floors and miniature piano.

And then there's Monaco.

Oh, Monaco.

We have a particular soft spot for this one, too.

Inspired by the sunlit homes of the French Riviera, with its powder-blue mansard roof and beautiful arched windows, it has a completely different feeling from Paris.

Monaco makes us imagine long afternoons, open doors, people coming and going, and a dinner table where there's always room for one more.

Inside, there's a kitchen and dining room, a piano salon, bedrooms, an atelier, a bathroom and a garden.

And with more than 600 pieces of furniture and accessories included, there's so much for little hands to discover.

We can already imagine someone playing the piano while another person prepares dinner. Perhaps the Thompson bears have invited everyone over. Perhaps nobody wants to go home.

You can also choose the Premium Lighting Full Suite, with miniature brass lamps and a chandelier that make the rooms feel even more like a real home.

It's the kind of house where something always seems to be happening.

So, What's Actually Different?

The House of Paris is inspired by classic Parisian townhouses, with four floors and seven rooms. Its café, playroom and rooftop terrace give it the feeling of a little neighbourhood, where children can imagine their own everyday routines.

The House of Monaco takes its inspiration from the French Riviera. With six floors, more than 600 pieces of furniture and accessories, a piano salon, an atelier and a garden, it offers a different kind of world to explore.

Both dollhouses include miniature furniture and accessories. The House of Paris offers optional rechargeable LED lighting and the Bellevue rabbit family, while the House of Monaco can be paired with premium brass lighting and the Thompson bear family.

Both arrive beautifully presented in a wooden crate and presentation box.

And Which One Would We Choose?

See, this is where we get stuck again.

We love Paris for its little city life. The café, the rooftop, the feeling of having your very own address in Paris.

But we love Monaco for completely different reasons. It's almost as if every room is playing a different song. And somehow, you find yourself feeling happier just looking at it. Maybe it's the colours. Maybe it's that little bit of sunshine you can almost feel coming through the windows. We can't quite explain it, but Monaco has that effect on us.

And perhaps that's exactly why we can't choose.

Because it's not really about which house has more rooms or more furniture.

It's about the kind of little life your child would love to create.

Some children will turn Paris into the busiest little neighbourhood you've ever seen. Others will fill Monaco with music, colour and a different little story in every room.

And some will surprise us completely.

That's the lovely thing about giving children a house of their own.

We may design the houses. But they decide what life looks like inside.

And between us? We're still not sure which one we'd take home.
