No one remembers exactly when the Thompsons arrived on Perry Street; they’re the kind of family who seem to have always been there, quietly giving the block its rhythm.

They live like every New Yorker convinced that chaos is just another form of elegance. But if you look closely, you’ll notice something unusual: the Thompsons are bears.
Not the kind from picture books. These ones wear wool coats, read The New Yorker, and are known for the small kindnesses that make the city slow down for a moment.

Henry Thompson works in design, something about light and space. He comes for his stories and stays for the scent that follows him.
Grace curates a small gallery on Bedford, where time never stands still. It moves with her laughter, her dance, her own quiet rhythm.

Their children, Noah, Emily, Benjamin, and Chloe, fill the rooms with motion: paper airplanes, piano lessons, laughter echoing down the stairwell.

At night, when the city glows amber and the air hums with traffic, the Thompsons sit on their steps and watch the world pass by.
They don’t roar. They don’t hibernate. They just live quietly and beautifully in the heart of a city that forgets to sleep.

And perhaps that’s the magic: no one ever really questions them.
In New York, you can be a bear, a dreamer, or a mystery, and still belong completely.

The Thompson Family consists of six handcrafted bears: Henry, Grace, Noah, Emily, Benjamin, and Chloe.
Entirely handmade.
Each family set is made to order.
Preparation time: approximately 7 days before shipment.
